Study In Germany
The education system in Germany is responsibility of the individual state governments, according to the constitution. Therefore, all universities in Germany are run by the respective federal states. Educational planning is in the hands of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Germany has almost 312 state and state organized higher education institutions.

Medium Of Instruction Of Education:
Most of the Bachelor courses in Germany are conducted in German Language. But of course, there are some courses which are offered in English and they require IELTS/TOEFL test report to be eligible for doing this courses. They generally ask for IELTS band minimum 6.0.

Admission And Tuition Fess:
Most of the universities and Colleges in Germany are state funded with almost 11 out of 16 states offering tuition free of charge. There are no university sponsored scholarships, but many private and public institutes provide scholarships. Higher education in Germany can be classified into:

Bachelor's programs:
Bachelor's programs in Germany consist of a period of four to six semesters which includes a compulsory abroad and internships. After receiving the Bachelor's Degree, students can apply for a Masters program in Germany.

Admission to undergraduate Studies:
Students applying for an undergraduate course in Germany have to undertake a one -year bridge program. This is to compensate for 13 years of school education in Germany compared to 12 years in Bangladesh. In order to be eligible for this bridging course, students from Bangladesh are required to have an excellent academic record upto HSC level(10+2), and must have basic knowledge of German language. Students who have successfully completed two years of undergraduate studies are exempted from this assessment test. However, they have to prove their proficiency in Germany language.

Admission to Postgraduate Studies:
Most of the postgraduate courses are offered in German language though there are some courses which is offered in English. Generally a recognized bachelor degree is required for studying the postgraduate course. Students have to have a good IELTS/TOFEL Score to be considered. There are some universities who offer exemption of this language requirement to the students who have successfully completed their bachelor degree in English medium.
